Windsor Police Investigates Threatening Flyers Against Singer Jackson Browne
Windsor police are investigating a threatening flyer against singer songwriter Jackson Browne who playing at Caesars Thursday night.
A large number of flyers was discovered Thursday morning in the 1500 block of Dougall Ave and Victoria Ave near Shepherd.
Police say the posters were not attached to any cars or mailboxes.
"They were scattered around," says Windsor Police Sergeant Steve Betteridge.
The flyer reads "Hey Canadiens. Excersize your 2nd Amendment rights, shoot a socialist"
There are spelling mistakes in the flyers and profanity used.
"We did launch an investigation from that and are actively investigating which could be a threats investigation," says Betteridge.
Jackson Browne is scheduled to take the stage at 8pm at the Colosseum.
