Wings Nip Canuks in B.C.

Tomas Tatar scored the game winner with 1:14 left in regulation to lift the Red Wings past the Canucks 3-2 in Vancouver.

Darren Helm scored in the first and Martin Frk extended the Detroit lead in the second.  

The Wings squandered the advantage in the third before Tartar's goal gave them their second-straight win.  Jimmy Howard made 26 saves in the winning effort.

Daniel Sedin and Michael Del Zotto scored less than three minutes apart to knot the game at two in the final frame.  

The Canucks have lost three-of-four and fell to 7-5-and-2 overall.

The Wings have won four-of-five.  They finish their four-game road trip Thursday at Calgary.
