Service N.B. centre in Saint-Quentin to reopen
Government says the Service New Brunswick centre in Saint-Quentin will reopen later this year.
Service New Brunswick Minister Sherry Wilson says "a review of the 2015 decision to close the centre revealed that it did not appear to be based on evidence. In face the number of transactions and the revenue generated by this centre was substantially higher than in the nearest centre in Kedgwick."
The province says once the new location is open, the Kedgwick location will operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the same staff providing service from the new Saint-Quentin location on Thursdays and Fridays.
The operating hours of both will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
According to a press release, the location for the Saint-Quentin centre is being finalized with the town and will be announced later this year.
Supplementary services remain available online seven days a week or by calling TeleServices.
