  • Tour Paramedic Ride East

    The Tour Paramedic Ride East is a not-for-profit event that honors the memories of military and civilian Paramedics whom, while serving Canadians with pride, have made the ultimate sacrifice. It provides Paramedics and other cyclists from across this great nation a way to come together to remember, share their stories, and fundraise for a great cause. As you are probably aware, Paramedics persevere through the worst kinds of tragedy. They learn that life can end in a mere moment and understand better than anyone the factors that contribute to a traumatic death. However, even the best paramedics cannot cheat death. Across Canada, fifty three (53) Paramedics have lost their lives in the line of duty while helping complete strangers or comrades in their time of need. Funds raised through this event go towards the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation's goal of building a national Paramedic line-of-duty death monument in Ottawa, Ontario. The Tour Paramedic Ride East will be from July 12-15, 2019 and they will be cycling from Amherst to Halifax, through the communities of Tatamagouche and Truro. They will also be cycling the Peggy's Cove loop from Halifax. Register now before May 30th;
