2019 MHL Entry Draft results

The Maritime Junior Hockey League held its 2019 Entry Draft at Centre Jean-Diagle in Edmundston, N.B. on Saturday.

According to a press release, 120 players were selected in the draft, including territorial picks which were announced previously.

Teams made the following selections in the first round:

  1. Campbellton Tigers: Riley Bezeau (Saint John Vito's/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  2. Grand Falls Rapids: Jack Campbell (Kensington Wild/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  3. Miramichi Timberwolves: Matthew Lint (Moncton Flyers/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  4. Fredericton Red Wings: Neil MacLean (Cape Breton West Islanders/Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League)
  5. Edmundston Blizzard: Mitchell McLeod (Halifax Macs/Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League)
  6. Truro Bearcats: Keiran Gallant (Kensington Wild/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  7. South Shore Lumberjacks: Brody Fraser (Cole Harbour Wolfpack/Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League)
  8. Grand Falls Rapids: Dominic Leblanc (Moncton Flyers/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  9. Campbellton Tiger's: Alex Cormier (Moncton Flyers/N.B./P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League)
  10. Fredericton Red Wings: Luke Akerman (Tri Pen Osprey/Newfoundland & Labrador Major Midget Hockey League)
  11. Fredericton Red Wings: Noah Wilson (King's Edgehill Prep/Prep School Hockey Federation)
