vote

Cumberland-Colchester New Democrats have chosen their candidate for the federal election.

Retired teacher and reporter Larry Duchesne of River Philip was officially nominated as the NDP candidate Wednesday night in Masstown.

The other candidates are:
William J. Archer - People's Party of Canada
Scott Armstrong - Conservatives
Jason Blanch - Green
Stephen Garvey - National Citizens Alliance
Lenore Zann - Liberals

Liberal Bill Casey won the Cumberland-Colchester seat in the 2015 election, but has chosen not to re-offer.

The election campaign officially began late Wednesday morning, although all parties have been unofficially campaigning for weeks with announcements, ads and attacks on each other.
