Several Vehicles Hit In Parking Lot Collision
An 87 year old Pembroke woman's driver's license will be subject to a medical review after a collision in a west end restaurant parking lot on Wednesday that left several vehicles damaged.
It was around 3:00 p.m. when the collision happened in the parking lot of the Tim Hortons and Wendy's at Pembroke Street West and Crandall Street.
Police say the 87 year old woman's car collided with four unoccupied parked cars, then took out a sign post and came to rest on the front lawn near the business.
The driver had experienced a medical issue prior to the collision, and was taken to hospital by ambulance for an assessment.
She was not otherwise injured in the collisions.
No charges are anticipated, but police say the driver's license will be subject to a medical review.
