Three Charges Against Suspect In Pembroke Attempted Robbery

The man arrested in an attempted armed robbery at a Pembroke convenience store last week is now facing three criminal charges.

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP say 32 year old Kaile James Archibald of Pembroke was arrested on Thursday afternoon, three days after the incident at a convenience store on Mackay Street.

Police did not specify what the weapon involved was, but the clerk of the store was not injured.

Archibald is charged with robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, and failing to comply with a recognizance.

He has another court appearance scheduled for this afternoon.
