10 Music Stars Celebrating 'National Bald Is Beautiful Day'
There’s no Hallmark card for the occasion but Sept. 13 is National Bald is Beautiful Day, the annual celebration of everyone who rocks a smooth pate.
No matter why you are follicly challenged – by nature or by razor – you should feel beautiful every day, of course. So, think of today as bald pride day, a day when you can parade down the street thrusting a bottle of Mr. Clean in the air and unabashedly expressing your love for Bruce Willis.
The music world, of course, has its share of naked noggins.
There are artists who have accepted and embraced their chrome domes (Billy Joel, Billy Corgan); artists who turned to hair transplants or fake hair (Elton John, Bret Michaels); artists who cover up their baldness with hats (Dwight Yoakam, The Edge); and artists who buzzed their heads for style (Sinead O’Connor) or just because (Britney Spears).
We’ve scoured the list of music stars with heads barren of hair to come up with the Top 10 ambassadors for National Bald is Beautiful Day. These are talented, successful people who dare to bare up there like they just don’t care.
