2 Women Charged After Stolen Vehicle Is Recovered In Pembroke
Police have charged 2 women and recovered a vehicle stolen from the Hamilton area in Pembroke. Sunday evening officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP conducted a traffic stop of a stolen passenger vehicle on Lea Street in Pembroke. Police had previously received a driving complaint regarding the stolen vehicle. Two women that were in the vehicle were arrested and taken into custody. 39-year-old Stephanie Burgess of Pembroke is facing charges including possession of Cocaine and Fentanyl along with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. 36-year-old Kerrie Lynn Buker is facing charges including possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon. They’ll appear by video in Pembroke Court on August 3rd.
