A Petawawa Man Charged with DUI While Riding Motorized Bicycle
A Petawawa man has been charged with drunk driving while riding a bike.
On September 5th in the afternoon, the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP stoped a man driving a motor assisted bicycle at the intersection of Airport Road and Petawawa Boulevard in Petawawa. The driver was under the influence of alcohol and was not wearing a helmet.
67 year old Michael John O'Heare, of Petawawa, is facing three charges, driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol and failing to refuse to provide a breath sample. He was also charged for not wearing a proper helmet. His license has also been suspended for 90 days.
