Bonnechere River Watershed Project Receives $30,000 OTF Grant
A collaborative partnership for “Freshwater Partners Renfrew County” has officially been launched in the area.
The partnership involving the Bonnechere River Watershed Project is all thanks to a $30,000 grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Cheryl Keetch, the Coordinator of the Bonnechere River Watershed Project says they are beyond thrilled to receive the grant…
"We are very happy to have received this funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Collective Impact Grant is a very difficult grant to obtain and it's a far reaching grant with a large focus."
The community partnership project involves Algonquin College, the Ottawa River Institute, the Muskrat Watershed Council, the Renfrew County Water Quality Leadership Group, the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association, Ottawa Riverkeeper, Sustainable Eastern Ontario and Watersheds Canada.
The group will be addressing water management issues, improving the health and quality of our area’s vital resource.
A man went to Ripley's Aquarium in TO, undressed and then jumped in the water to swim with the sharks. The best part of this story? He managed to get out of the tank and flee before the police showed up!
New Yorkers don't have a reputation for being polite and friendly. Here's why! Omg!
What is funnier? The body language of this man when he realizes what will be demonstrated or the music that has been added to the video?
