Bonnechere Valley Residents Charged After Police Raid

Two Bonnechere Valley residents each face a long list of criminal charges after police searched a home in the township back on December 20th and recovered a variety of stolen property.

Killaloe OPP say they seized guns, drugs and ATV's from the home following an extensive investigation.

The search involved the Community Street Crime Unit of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, the Canine Unit, and the Emergency Response Team.

One man and one woman were arrested in the investigation.

37-year-old old Joshua Sprague of Bonnechere Valley Twp. has been charged with:

- 14 counts of possession of a firearm, ammunition, contrary to a prohibition order
- 3 counts of altering, destroying, or removing a Vehicle Identification Number
- 3 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- 4 counts of failing to comply with a probation order
- 6 counts of careless storage of a firearm
- possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- possession of a Schedule III substance

Meanwhile, 38-year-old Erin Dietrich, also of Bonnechere Valley Township, has been charged with:

- 3 counts of altering, destroying, or removing a Vehicle Identification Number
- 3 counts of possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5,000
- possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- 6 counts of careless storage of a firearm
- possession of a weapon
- possession of a prohibited weapon
- possession of a Schedule III substance

 Both accused are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 9:30 am, Ontario Court of Justice, Killaloe.
