Community Open House a Success Concerning Active Transportation Plan in Petawawa

Despite last night’s weather, the Community Open House in Petawawa, concerning the Active Transportation Plan, was well attended.

David Unrau, the Director of Public Works for the Town of Petawawa, says residents gave varied responses to the routes that they are proposing. Non-motorized routes will connect key destinations, points of interest, natural areas and more

He adds the community will start to see some routes completed this year,

“Next, we’ll be adding additional requests for funding, so this year we will see some routes created, and over the next few years if we are successful in our funding applications then we will see some more routing in the next few years.”

The public can also provide feedback on the active transportation plan at Showcase later this month or access an online survey on the Town of Petawawa’s website.

  • Rough Welcome

New Yorkers don't have a reputation for being polite and friendly. Here's why! Omg!
  • The Infamous Butt Drag

What is funnier? The body language of this man when he realizes what will be demonstrated or the music that has been added to the video?
  • The Very Worst Swimsuit

It's just objectively the worst swimsuit. There's no way it's not!
