County of Renfrew CAO Retiring
After 31 years of municipal service, the county of Renfrew's Chief Administrative Officer Clerk, Jim Hutton, is retiring.
Hutton says over the years he's served a lot of different roles with the County…
"I started with the County in 1987, as a Planning Technician. Over the years, I think I've been in, I think, seven or eight different positions, Land Use Planner, Senior Planner, Economic Development Officer, Manager of Planning, Director of Development and Property, and finally I was appointed CAO Clerk in 2010"
Hutton adds he was very emotional when telling Council last week but he's feeling good about his decision. Hutton's retirement will start at the end of September and the formal search for the next CAO hasn't begun yet.
Wow! A police pursuit from the inside of a police car. Crazy!
Whose idea was this? Imagine having to carry that to tables all night!
Last night at the Tony Awards, Robert de Niro had some harsh words for the American president and the crowd reacted with a standing ovation.
