Day 3: Search For Missing Hunter
A police dive team will be back out in the Ottawa River near Renfrew today, spending a third straight day searching for a missing duck hunter.
The 36-year-old man has not been seen since a boat he and another man were in capsized on Saturday night.
While the other man managed to swim to an island and wait until Sunday morning for help, the missing man was last seen trying to swim toward shore on Saturday night.
Police have said the men were not wearing life jackets.
A police dive team and helicopter were used on Sunday and again yesterday in an effort to find the man… working from a staging area set up at a community boat launch in Horton Township.
Constable Janice Sawbridge says the search teams will resume their efforts this morning.
The OPP have not released the man’s identity.
Search teams had to contend with both wind and rain during the effort yesterday.
A man went to Ripley's Aquarium in TO, undressed and then jumped in the water to swim with the sharks. The best part of this story? He managed to get out of the tank and flee before the police showed up!
New Yorkers don't have a reputation for being polite and friendly. Here's why! Omg!
What is funnier? The body language of this man when he realizes what will be demonstrated or the music that has been added to the video?
