Drug Warrant in Renfrew Results in Charges

The Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed 2 drug search warrants in the town of Renfrew on Friday January 12. 

A residence on Argyle Street S was searched and police seized cocaine, marihuana, cash, drug paraphernalia, a prohibited weapon, ammunition and two weapons. 

Colin KASEKE aged 44 was charged with

  • possession of a schedule 1 drug
  • possession of a schedule 2 drug
  • possession of a prohibited weapon
  • breach of a recognizance (6 counts)
  •  

He was released from bail court on a recognizance with conditions. He will appear in court in Renfrew on February 7.

Sherra WHITE aged 42 of Renfrew charged with

  • possession of a schedule 1 drug
  • possession of a schedule 2 drug
  • unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • possession of ammunition (2 counts)
  •  

She remains in custody and will appear in court in Pembroke on January 25.

A residence on Plaunt Street S in Renfrew was also searched. Police seized methamphetamine, cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Tyler GERBERT aged 33 and Roxanne MCGINTY aged 34 of Renfrew were charged with

  • possession of a schedule 1 drug
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule 1 drug
  • breach of probation (2 counts)
  •  

Both were released from police custody on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on March 7. Detective Constable J.P. St. Cyr led the investigation.
