Four Charged in Pembroke After OPP Execute Drug Warrant

On May 16, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP's Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke. As a result quantities of drugs were seized and four adults, all from the City of Pembroke, were arrested and charged as follows:

34 year old Albert Robert TREMBLAY is charged with the following CDSA and Criminal Code (CC) offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance

31 year old Amanda Ashley RUDDY is charged with the following CDSA and CC offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance

Both subjects were held for a bail hearing on May 17, 2017 and remain in custody until their next court appearance on May 18, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke

36 year old Christopher Robert MIRAULT and 33 year old Roseanne Marie SYLVESTER are each charged with the following CDSA offences:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Fentanyl

Both subjects were released on a Promise to Appear and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 27, 2017
