“there was 8 drivers that were all charged under the Stunt Driving Legislation for speeding in excess of 50/km’s an hour over the posted limits. That results in a person’s driver’s license being suspended and the vehicle impounded, both at the roadside, for a period of seven days.”
In all, 103 people were charged by Upper Ottawa Valley OPP for speeding. 12 hazardous moving violations were issues, five distracted driving and fire seatbelt charges were also laid.
