OPP Charge Two Pembroke Men After Break and Enter
On the morning of November 26, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a residence on Eganville Road in the City of Pembroke after the homeowner discovered that a detached garage on the property had been broken into during the overnight hours. Several items were stolen including power tools, toys and video equipment. The investigation led police to a residence on an adjacent street where police located several stolen items. Two men at the residence were arrested and charged as a result.
23-year-old Brandon Aaron LAMOUREUX and 21-year-old Benjamin Dalton LECLAIRE, both of Pembroke, are each cha rged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:
- Break, Enter and Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance
LAMOUREUX was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 5, 2017.
LECLAIRE was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next scheduled court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 6, 2017.
