Search Warrant Results In Illegal Cigarette and Drug Seizure
On April 07, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP's Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP's Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Criminal Code (CC) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke.
Marihuana and a significant quantity of illegal cigarettes were seized.
As a result 65-year old Phillip HUARD of Pembroke is facing the following CC and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) charges:
- Possess Unstamped Tobacco for the Purpose of Sale
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis Marihuana under 30 grams
The accused was released on a Promise To Appear and is schedule to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 23, 2017
