The Ace Is Still Out There!

The Ace is still out there!

The Deep River and District Hospital Foundation’s massive “Catch The Ace” progressive jackpot of more than $330,000 did NOT go on Thursday night, when a 10 of hearts was drawn from the envelope selected on the winning ticket.

That means the elusive ace connected to the big prize is now in one of four remaining envelopes, along with a prize that’ll likely be over $400,00 next week.

Hospital foundation spokesperson Ashley Pardy says it's so exciting to see the lottery continuing.

"The total amount raised for the hospital so far is $518,000 as well", Pardy told Star 96.7 on Thursday evening.

"We're over the moon excited about how well this lottery has done.  We're very excited, and very fortunate to be going for another week!", Pardy added.

Last night proved profitable for Judi Bludd of Pembroke though.

Even though she didn’t choose the right ace enevelope on her winning ticket, she was the winner of the weekly prize of just over $37,800.

The ultimate goal of the campaign is to purhcase new x-ray, portable x-ray and ultrasound equipment for the Deep River and District Hospital.

The money raised so far already represents nearly one-third of the goal for that technology.
