Two Pembroke Area Men Charged with Drunk Driving
Two Pembroke area men are facing Drunk Driving charges following incidents last week.
On July 31, just before midnight, Upper Ottawa Valley OPP stopped a driver on Church Street when their Automatic Licence Plate Recognition cruiser alerted the officer that the licence plates on the car belonged to a suspended driver. The driver was suspended but was also found to be driving under the influence. 37 year old Braden Robinson of the Laurentian Valley is facing related charges.
Meanwhile, shortly after midnight on August 1st the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP stopped a vehicle on Russham Road after a possible impaired driver was reported in the area. The 20 year old driver, Raegan Goldberg of Pembroke, was found to be under the influence and was arrested after refusing to provide a breath sample.
Both men had their licence's suspended for 90 days and their vehicles towed and impounded for seven days.
