Two Women charged after OPP execute search warrant in Pembroke
On February 14, 2017 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of OPP's Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke. A quantity of drugs and cash were seized and two Pembroke residents were arrested.
26 year old Christa Catherine HIER was charged under the CDSA with one count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine. She was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until her next court appearance in Pembroke court on February 21, 2017.
27 year old Brianne CORRIN was charged with the following CDSA and Criminal Code offences
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order - 5 counts
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance - Cannabis Marihuana under 30 grams
She was held for a bail hearing and subsequently released on a Recognizance of Bail with a court date of February 28, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke
