    The Cherryville Elementary PAC will be hosting their annual Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, December 2, at the Cherryville Hall, located at 158 North Fork Road. The bazaar is an annual fundraiser to support the students. The money raised helps to support field trips, year end water slide day and so much more. The Hall will open at 8:30am for vendors to come in and set up their tables, and doors will open to shoppers at 11:00am to 3:00 pm. There will also be a concession. Come and support some local artists and get some Christmas Shopping done at the same time!

    Okanagan Valley Big Band will be holding a dance on Saturday, December 15th at the Schubert Centre starting at 7:30pm.     For many North Okanagan residents, Light A Bulb has become synonymous with seasonal giving to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation. Since 1988, Light A Bulb has raised over $4.8 million to purchase medical equipment for Vernon Jubilee Hospital. During the winter campaign, strings of bulbs are lit on the tree atop the Hospital to represent incoming donations. By the end of the Campaign, the fully-lit tree symbolizes the success of the Campaign and the enhancement of healthcare in the North Okanagan.
