    It's Falkland's biggest event of the year! This May long, head to the Falkland Stampede for a weekend full of fun, excitement, food, drinks, and some amazing competition. One of Canada's oldest stampedes, the Falkland Stampede started in 1919, just after the war, as a picnic which has grown over the years to a three day rodeo.     Join Sun FM for the 2nd Annual NOCLS 24 Hour FUNdraiser! Starting at 5pm on Friday, May 25 to 5pm on Saturday, May 26, teams of 10 will come together for 24 hours of physical activity fun at the Vernon Curling Rink! The main purpose is twofold: to raise money for the NOCLS and have a super FUN event for all participants. Each team must raise at least $200.00 prior to the event, so get out there and raise some funds! Dinner, breakfast, and lunch will all be served during the event!     Bike to School & Work Week is May 28 - June 3 this year. Will you be taking part in getting some great exercise and reducing your carbon footprint? The weather should be beautiful (we hope), so get out there and enjoy some of that amazing sunshine (again, we hope) and fresh air!
