Car Crashes Into House

Vernon  RCMP say traffic delays on hospital hill Thursday morning were caused by a car that crashed into a residence. 
About  4:30 am, the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP were called to a single vehicle collision at 32nd Street and 21st Avenue in Vernon.   Police found one vehicle that had gone off road left and collided with a residence. 

Investigators say the driver remained on scene and was cooperative with Police.  No one was injured, however the vehicle and house involved sustained extensive damages. 

“The driver, residents of the effected home and other motorist are extremely lucky no one was injured as a result of this collision”. Says Cst. Kelly Brett. “Drug and alcohol were not a factors in this particular incident”. 

The driver, a 26 year old Quebec man,  was charged under the motor vehicle act for failing to keep right, no driver’s license and no insurance.
