Chaos Brings Thousands

It will be Chaos in Vernon this weekend!

The 44th Annual Creative Chaos runs Friday through Sunday at the Rec Centre complex.  Organizer Joanne Horvath says there are over 250 Crafters and Artisans, from as far away as Scotland. The event draws a crowd of thousands.

Admission is free, but she says they're trying to help stock the shelves at the local food bank.
The Salvation Army says it is a huge fundraiser for the local food bank. Donations of non-perishable food and cash are encouraged.

Horvath says because of the parking shortage,  they're trying a free shuttle this year.  It will run from the North End of Kal Tire Place Friday and Saturday from 11-3 dropping people at the Curling Rink.
Horvath says it will run every 20 minutes.
