IPE Hopes to Set New Record

The 118th  Interior Provincial Exhibition kicks off  Wednesday in Armstrong.

IPE General Manager Yvonne Paulson says the theme is Field to Plate - and invites everyone to celebrate 150 years of agriculture in Canada.  She says if you've never been to a farm, this is a great way to learn about agriculture.  One big change this year is the rodeo is starting an hour early at 7pm.
Paulson says there's a lot of new entertainment  and the fair is very family friendly.

Paulson says with the amazing forecast they could set a new attendance record.  She hopes to beat 2010's 159-thousand people.  The fair runs till Sunday, Sept 2nd.
