Sagmoen Bail Hearing

Protesters gathered outside the Vernon courthouse to raise awareness for violence against women, while Curtis Sagmoen was granted bail on some of the charges he is facing.

The 37-year-old is facing multiple charges dating back to last year, including two counts of assault against sex trade workers, as well as uttering threats and illegally discharging a firearm.

RCMP also uncovered the remains of 18-year-old Traci Generaux near the Salmon Arm property belonging to Sagmoen's parents, although no charges have been laid.

Sagmoen will remain in custody until his next appearance, which is slated for Thursday, March 8th.
