Shots Fired at Apartment

Salmon Arm RCMP believe shots fired at an apartment early Wednesday morning was a targeted  shooting,  related to the drug trade.

RCMP say they were called to a complaint of shots fired at a building on First Avenue South West at about 2:30am.  Police say bullets hit the outside wall and through a window. Nobody was injured in the incident. Two individuals were witnessed leaving the scene in a light coloured compact car.

Investigators have spoken to a male who was believed to be the intended target. Police believe this was a targeted shooting related to the local drug trade.
