Flood Risk

The BC River Forecast Centre says there's a normal risk of flooding in the Okanagan this spring.

The snowpack is about 5-percent higher than normal  and March was a wet month, which contributed to the increase in the snowpack and some higher stream flows.

Seasonal run-off is expected to be near normal across BC, expect in the Okanagan and Nicola regions where slightly higher than normal run-off is expected.
