Sex Manslaughter

A Salmon Arm man who was on trial for the death of a 27-year-old woman he claimed died during sex has been found not-guilty.

31-year-old Logan Scott was charged with manslaughter after Jillian McKinty was found dead from asphyxiation in her Armstrong home in November 2013.

The judge who acquitted Scott said he had concerns with testimony from a pathologist who couldn't say for sure if McKinty died from ligature strangulation. Scott was found guilty of theft for stealing McKinty's laptop and cell phone.
