World Sleep Day

March 15th isn't just your everyday average day, it's a day set aside to celebrate the one thing we all love to do but some struggle to do. SLEEP. On World Sleep Day, experts say sleeping is as important as exercise and dieting. A few fun facts about your average nap time:

  • For a body to function properly it needs at least 6 - 8 Hours of sleep
  • People who sleep less are likely to eat more
  • Try limiting screen time before bed
  • The bedroom environment is important to ensure a better sleep

Experts at UBC have also linked lack of sleep to many illnesses. So GET SOME SLEEP.
