    The first ever Studs 'n' Suds charity car wash for cancer will be happening at 1506 Sutherland Ave! DJ's, a BBQ, and the most attractive men/women you know will be washing cars all afternoon long for a minimum donation of $10! Bring down your car & show some support as we rally for Dennis Macleod who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Your participation & donations are greatly appreciated!
  • Interior Savings Moonlight Movies

    As the sun goes down in our communities, Interior Savings Credit Union and the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs will be lighting up parks in your area with an awesome movie on a giant inflatable movie screen and fun activities for the family. The community is invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars. There is no charge to attend the event, but a donation of $10 per family is encouraged with all proceeds benefiting the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs. Concession and Activities begin at 7:00pm. Movie starts at dusk. Moonlight Movie dates: August 20 - Okanagan Falls - Kenyon Park | August 21 - West Kelowna - Webber Rd Community Centre Back Field | August 22 - Kelowna - City Park North Field | August 23 - Lake Country - Beasley Park | August 24 - Vernon - Polson Park.     The ride has options for short and long routes on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as a 100km Saturday route. The ride is suitable for any bike, however, some cycling experience is recommended and minimum cycling speeds will be suggested for the longer routes. Enjoy the breakfasts and lunches provided throughout the weekend, plus a celebration dinner on Saturday night recognizing the hard work and fundraising achievements of cyclists.     This fun-filled event, hosted by Walley Lightbody will bring together a variety of tennis competitors, bocce players, and local tennis celebrities, in an effort to celebrate the game and benefit our community. The event is raising funds for essential, life-saving cardiac equipment and cardiac rehabilitation services serving the interior of BC. New this year – we will be switching up the tournament format to Team Tennis. Limited spots available so sign up early! We have also added a 40km scenic cycle and lunch to Sunday’s activities.
