Weekend In Review: August 3-5
This long weekend the weather was perfect especially for everything going on. On Saturday the slo-pitch national championships was such a fun event to attend and meet people from all over Canada. It was neat to have something that big here in Kelowna. Plus I love anything that has to do with baseball or those sports alike.
On Sunday I went back to Grizzli Winery for Art in the Park. It was a little different than the last time they did it and I think they had much more traffic this time around. There were some new art vendors and some that I have seen from previous events. I was right at the entrance so I caught most of the people coming in or leaving. This older gentleman would come by and visit and check in with me and how could I forget, told me lots of dad jokes!? It was a lot of fun all the same.
Long weekend Monday, a beautiful day! It was a shame to have had to be inside on such a bright and sunny day but I was at Manteo Resort so it was a win-win. I was at the Craft Culture Summer Artisan and Crafters Market all day. I spent time walking around to the wide variety of vendors and getting to know them, we were spending the whole day together after all. And I nearly made it throughout the whole day without buying any knick-knacks, jewelry or art. But lo and behold approximately a half hour until the event shuts down, I buy earrings, I was so close! But my earrings are really cute.
