Carbon monoxide monitors to be installed in 160 N.B. schools
The provincial government says carbon monoxide monitors will be installed in about 160 provincial schools which have fuel-fired appliances.
Installation work is expected to begin during the summer break and be completed before school heating systems are turned on this fall.
Tenders were issued on June 3rd.
Government says the devices were not installed in these schools initially, as they're not required by the National Building Code of Canada.
