3 people facing charges following pair of incidents in Fredericton

Three people are facing charges after a pair of incidents in Fredericton earlier this week.

Fredericton police say three men used a crowbar to try and rob a taxi driver downtown around 3:54 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver was not hurt, and a black vehicle was seen fleeing the scene.

About an hour later, officers were called to a break and enter at a north side residence.

Investigators say three men fled in a dark car and were arrested at the corner of Cliffe Street and Fieldstone Court.

Police say 20-year-old Jackson Allen, 20-year-old Daniel Woodworth and 19-year-old Jacob Robert LeBlanc face charges of break and enter, robbery and attempted robbery.

LeBlanc also faces a charge of disguise with intent.

All three were remanded into custody following a court appearance Thursday morning and are due back in court on Tuesday.
