Barricade worker injured, police seek vehicle involved
RCMP are asking for help to locate the driver of a vehicle that injured a worker manning a barricade at a flooded road.
A beige or gold sedan with a Saskatchewan licence plate was stopped at a barricade on Route 105 in Maugerville around noon on Wednesday.
Police say the man driving, who was the only person in the vehicle, became agitated and fled, pulling a worker for a short distance.
The victim was hospitalized, but RCMP say their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The vehicle was sighted later on the south side of Fredericton leaving the Princess Margaret Bridge at the Forest Hill exit driving erratically.
