Big jump expected at pumps

It could be yet another hike at the pumps for New Brunswick drivers.

Industry analysts are expecting a rise in gas for the 6th week in a row, when the Energy and Utilities Board makes their weekly adjustment at midnight.

Gas could go up as much as 4 cents per litre, while no change is expected in the price of diesel.

The current maximum for regular self-serve gas is $1.14.7 cents per litre, while diesel is set at $1.32.9.

Many retailers are selling for a few cents less than the maximum prices.
