Bones discovered outside Dundee home identified as human
RCMP say bones discovered outside a home in Dundee have been identified as human.
The bones were discovered by police outside the home on Splude Street on Tuesday, but not positively identified as human until Wednesday.
Police were called to the residence to conduct a well-being check on 54-year-old Brigitte Pelletier on Saturday.
RCMP say they have not yet been able to identify the remains, which may take some time to complete.
56-year-old Gilles Moreau from Dundee appeared in court on Tuesday and was charged with first degree murder of his spouse, Brigitte Pelletier.
He was remanded into custody and returns to court on August 13th.
The investigation is continuing.
