Busy night for police in Fredericton
Fredericton police were kept busy Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to two attempted break and enters, an attempted robbery of a cab driver and were also investigating shots fired in the city.
The first incident happened just after 9:30 Tuesday night when police responded to shots fired at a north side home. Three men forced their way into a residence in the Royal Road area and assaulted the homeowner. The suspects were arrested a short time later.
The next incident happened shortly after 3:00 Wednesday morning when a man used a crowbar to break the window of a taxi at the Irving on King Street. The male suspect was demanding money but the window didn't break.
Police also arrested three suspects after an attempted break and enter at a residence in St-Mary's.
