Calithumpians' Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre touring the province

A well-known theatre company will be touring the province in celebration of Canada 150.

The Calithumpians' Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre is getting $40,000 from the province and $38,000 from the federal government.

The bilingual show will feature themes relating to New Brunswick's role in Confederation and in keeping the union together in the early years.

It will also have a local historical element, a topical element, an environmental element and a message about the province's potential.

Certain aspects will be common in all shows, however other unique material created specifically for local venues will be added.
