Canadian Nuclear Laboratories to establish National Innovation Centre in Fredericton: Province
Government says Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) will establish a National Innovation Centre in Fredericton.
The province says this centre will help CNL, a nuclear science and technology company, significantly expand its cybersecurity research capabilities.
CNL is set to invest more than $3 million in equipment and security for its new Knowledge Park facility, which is expected to add 24 employees to its Fredericton office over a five-year period.
Government says CNL is eligible for a $1.075 million investment from Opportunities NB, which will include $575,000 in payroll rebates and a $500,000 non-repayable contribution.
The payroll rebates will be provided annually as the company creates and maintains the jobs.
