Christmas Tree drop-off locations

The City of Fredericton has announced eight designated areas to recycle natural Christmas Trees.

Christmas Trees are collected at sites, chipped and recycled for compost.

For staff and equipment and safety, citizens are asked to not leave wreaths, artificial trees or any other materials that are not natural Christmas Trees, including removing all stands, lights, tinsel, ornaments, screws, plastic, strings, nails and wires, because these objects are not recyclable.

The eight signed disposal areas for the Christmas Tree Recycling Program in the City of Fredericton are:

1. Royal Road Park - Park parking lot adjacent to the Royal Road Fire Station
2. Fulton Heights - School parking lot off main entrance to Nashwaaksis Middle School
3. Fisher Park - Park parking lot off McEvoy
4. Marysville Heritage Centre Facility - Parking lot off McGloin Street
5. Kimble Drive - Vacant lot opposite the Fredericton Community Garden at 150 Kimble
6. Odell Park - Park parking lot in corner of the lot off Waggoners Lane
7. Queens Square Park - Park parking lot adjacent to pool building off Aberdeen
8. Angelview Park - Park parking lot off Woodstock Road

The annual program runs from Boxing Day until January 20, 2019, and is one of the many ways that we can reduce waste, reuse and recycle.
