City's 'watermark' sculpture to be updated with 2018's historic flood level

Fredericton's 'Watermark' sculpture will be updated to mark last spring's historic flooding in the area.

Gerald Beaulieu, who created the art piece, will be in the city on Monday to insert a new date plaque to reflect the 2018 flood levels at 8.31 metres.

The sculpture shows the city's high water mark sculpture along the Saint John River.

Work is expected to take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
