City says Arts, Culture, and Heritage Funding program grants awarded

The 2018 Arts, Culture, and Heritage Funding program grants have been awarded. 

The City of Fredericton says the grants totalling $100,000 were recently given to 34 local arts, culture, and heritage organizations. 

The city says the grants will aim to support projects and events ranging from festivals, multicultural celebrations, a heritage fair, artist-in-residence programs, community outreach art programs, theatre, music, dance, fine craft, and film. 

Some of the organizations who were awarded grants include Solo Chicken Productions for their Training and Performance Series ($4,600), Bard in the Barracks Inc. for Cymbeline in the Park ($4,600), and NB Fillmmakers' Co-op Ltd. for their 2018 Silver Wave Film Festival ($4,500).
