Couple displaced after Moncton apartment fire

A Moncton couple is temporarily homeless after a kitchen fire spread heavy smoke through their apartment.

The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze broke out in a four-unit building on Lutz Street on Friday night.

No injuries were reported and the fire was contained to one unit.

The man and woman are staying with relatives for now, and have received emergency help from the Red Cross.
