Details of liquor heists from Waasis gas station store revealed in court
The details of a series of liquor heists from the Lincoln Big Stop have been revealed in court.
The Telegraph-Journal reports that 39-year-old Amy Elizabeth Bourque and her partner Donald Walker stole over 50 bottles of hard liquor worth more than an estimated $1,500 between January 24th and February 3rd.
Prosecutor Patrick Wilbur said in Saint John court during Bourque's sentencing yesterday that footage from the store showed the pair working together.
Wilbur said Walker would pick up an armful of bottles from a shelf, put them in Bourque's bag, and she would then leave the store with them.
The Telegraph Journal reports Bourque has been sentenced with a six-month conditional sentence order, during which time she cannot have any contact with Walker, and she must not return to the Waasis gas station store.
She has also been ordered to pay $600 in victim fine surcharges.
