Dozens of N.B. athletes competing at 2017 North American Indigenous Games

Athletes from across New Brunswick are preparing to head to Toronto for the 2017 North American Indigenous Games.

Running from July 16th to 23rd, the event for young people aged 13 to 19 is the largest sporting and cultural gathering of its kind.

The 85 athletes from the province will compete in six events: 3D archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.

All 13 provinces and territories are taking part, as well as nine regions of the United States.
