Electoral reform meeting in Fredericton
Residents in the Fredericton area will have a chance to voice their thoughts on electoral reform.
The Commission on Electoral Reform is hosting a town hall meeting at the Fredericton Convention Centre from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.
The five-member commission has been meeting with stakeholders and subject-matter experts since the beginning of January.
Commission member Carolyn MacKay has said they are tasked with assessing several electoral reform matters, including preferential ballots, online voting and the voting age.
If you can't make it to Monday night's town hall, you can provide written submissions to the commission by email until Jan. 31.
The commission will provide recommendations to government in March.
